Mint Medical has been a leader in non-invasive, vascular laboratory services for over two decades.

Ultrasound is a powerful diagnostic and screening tool. Its effectiveness, however, is often determined by the expertise of ultrasound technologists. Trust in our highly trained and educated technologists to provide reliable diagnostics time after time.

All our technologists and interpreting physicians are credentialed by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Many of our vascular technologists also hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Vascular Technology.

PROVEN RESULTS

High quality vascular ultrasounds can be essential for patient diagnoses and informing surgical decisions. Mint Medical ultrasound labs go above and beyond by conducting regular Quality Improvement meetings and showing a proven correlation rate of over 90% when comparing our exams to the ‘gold standard’ angiograms. Our partners can rest assured that their treatment and surgical decisions are based on accurate, confirmed ultrasound results.

Accreditation

Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC)

We believe that quality patient care depends on the training and expertise of the technologist who administers the test and the physicians who interpret the findings. With Mint Medical, you can be confident our technologists and physicians have met the type of stringent accreditation requirements that allow us to produce accurate, repeatable results.

The IAC Vascular Testing Accreditation Program is designed to ensure high standards for patient care by promoting and evaluating the quality of vascular diagnostic evaluations.

During the accreditation process, laboratories evaluate every aspect of daily operations and their impact on the quality of health care provided to patients. Accreditation must be renewed every three years to maintain quality. In California, many insurance reimbursement directives require accreditation, and laboratories who attain this in advance demonstrate a willingness to surpass expectations.

Mint Medical has obtained accreditation for nearly 20% of all vascular lab facilities in California. There are only forty-five facilities that have achieved this recognition throughout the state. From initial application to accreditation maintenance and renewal, Mint Medical has the tools and experience to effectively manage this process for our partners.
